Steak Sandwhich

Ingredients:

  • AAA striploin
  • Thick cut brioche bread
  • Kennebec potatoes
  • Button mushrooms
  • Garnish
  • Fresh thyme
  • Roasted garlic clove
  • Kennebec potatoes

Steak Rub Ingredients:

  • Kosher salt x 1 cup
  • Black pepper x 1 tbsp
  • Cumin x 1 tbsp
  • Paprika x 1 tbsp
  • Sugar x 1 tbsp
  • Onion powder x 1 tbsp

Instructions:

Steak (AAA striploin)

Rub steak (rub recipe below) then grill to desired doneness-drizzle with 7 spice and allow to rest

Garlic Toast
Texas cut brioche bread (any thick cut bread is good) then spread 7 spice evenly on one side of bread and bake until golden
Mushrooms
Cut 1/4 button mushrooms, sautee in butter and season with salt and pepper.
Garnish
With the fresh thyme and roasted garlic cut the top off of garlic head, drizzle with 7 spice, bake at 375F until soft.
Fries
Blanch 80% and cool, then fry or roast until golden brown. Finally toss in 7 spice and salt & pepper
